Playing with Mrs Eaves
OBJECTIVE Create a typographic set of cards explaining the history and anatomy of a typeface of our choice, and create a concept that is related to some aspect of the typeface. APPROACH I chose Mrs Eaves, a typeface inspired by Baskerville, and used a domino theme as dominos were introduced to Europe around the same time as Baskerville and Mrs. Eaves lived. My design incorporates dots to mimic dominos and it combines them with type in interesting ways with a feminine touch.
